Job Description:

Job Description – Level 2 Engineer  Azure

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Should have worked as a Level 2 Azure engineer for at least 3 years.
  • Should have at least 4-5 years of total working experience
  • Should be a Graduate or Above
  • Should have extensive working knowledge of MS Fabric, Synapse, Communication Services & IOT - Internet Of Things.
  • Should have prior experience in supporting Azure infrastructure & Virtualization technologies
  • Must have Certifications like DP-600, DP-203, AZ-220, AZ 104, AZ-500, AZ-700, AZ-140, AZ-400, AI-102, Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), etc.

Principal Responsibilities:  

  • Manages overall personnel, performance, daily operations, and discipline of self
  • The position will be responsible for providing remote support for IT infrastructure
  • Drive specific improvement projects as required by the Management Team from time to time
  • Be accountable and responsible for actions taken
  • Take ownership of tasks assigned
  • Maintain & update complete infrastructure for delegated clients hosted on the cloud, VM Ware, or on-premises environments.
  • Troubleshoot & manage MS Fabric, Synapse, Communication Services & IOT - Internet Of Things and Azure infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot & manage Microsoft Azure client’s issues daily.
  • Platform Monitoring and Management
  • Virtual Machine monitoring and management
  • Perform regular data & system backups as required for servers
  • Optimize system parameters for best performance
  • Establishing & maintaining technical and administrative procedures for Information systems
  • Upgrading Operating Systems as needed to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Maintain & Manage the RMM platform with a proactive approach
  • Maintain & manage the Service desk platform with best practices
  • Should have good exposure to troubleshooting complex cloud issues and ensure smooth operations of cloud environments.
  • Delivering Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports for backups, Server and Network availability
  • Performing Patching Activities as per the schedules
  • Performing monthly and quarterly test restores and DR drills.

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 10, Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 + and LINUX server OS
  • Platform Monitoring and Management
  • Virtual Machine monitoring and management
  • Patch Management for Windows and Linux Servers
  • Azure IoT Developer, Azure Communication Services Monitoring & Management.
  • Azure Data Engineer and Data Analyst, Monitoring & Management.
  • Azure Security Monitoring & Management
  • Azure Storage Monitoring & Management
  • Azure Backup Monitoring & Management
  • Good work exposure with Azure Monitor and Advisor.
  • Good understanding of Azure IAAS, PAAS, SAAS and Windows Server Environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of SMTP, POP3 and Exchange mail protocols
  • Extensive knowledge of on-prem & Azure Hybrid Configuration & troubleshooting
  • Able to troubleshoot complex Azure Environmental Issues.
  • Good understanding of configuration and troubleshooting MS Fabric, Synapse, Communication Services & IOT, Azure VMs, Vnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, Web app Services, MFA and SSO setup for Enterprise applications, backup and restore, Disaster recovery etc.
  • Able to analyze Azure Logs and provide RCA of the reported issues
  • Should have relevant knowledge of on-prem & Azure Hybrid Environment
  • Should have Azure PowerShell knowledge
  • Able to troubleshoot all Azure Complex IaaS and PaaS Services
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP in both Azure and on-premises environments
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge about Antivirus/Endpoint protection (Symantec/McAfee/Trend, etc.)
  • Knowledge of managing various RMM Tools e.g. ConnectWise Automate, Manage Engine, N-able, Site 24/7, or others.
  • Knowledge about Data backup & recovery in Azure and On-premises environments

Good to have Skills:

  • Working exposure on Micro Services, Azure Kubernetes Services would be an added benefit
  • Exposure to Azure SQL Database, Web app Services, Analytics- Data Factory and Databricks and DevOps

Must have any one of the following Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (DP-203)
  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Azure IoT Developer (AZ-220)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102)

Working Shift - US Shift, should be willing to 24×7 working environment.

Working Mode - Work form home/Hybrid, required to travel to office once in a quarter on his/her cost.
