Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Maintaining a leadership role in promoting safety in the facility.
- Welding and Boilermaker knowledge / experience.
- Induction for all employees, trained related to job description. (No induction, no work)
- Risk assessments.
- Safe work procedures.
- Training on relevant Pre-use inspections and checklist.
- Proof of training done. (Risk conversancy training.)
- Confers with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
- Monitors assembly performance for production and quality standards in compliance with work orders.
- Coordinate employee work schedule and work order assignments.
- Assures all production schedules are met, and related to the below;
- Unforeseen issues resolved, recorded for ‘Lessons learned’ discussion.
- Daily tasks assigned to employees, monitor performance.
- Planning: Monitoring the timeframe and communicated daily with your line manager.
