 Reporting directly to FBU Maintenance Manager. Marine Mechanic must be responsible for completing periodic inspections, scheduled of maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on a variety of marine diesel inboard and petrol outboard motors, trouble shoot, and repair of hydraulic system and control valves must have good experience for electronic and mechanical marine engine overhauling as per manufacturer standard reuirements.Marine mechanics also must be analytical and good at solving problems. They additionally should have solid manual dexterity, have good hand-eye coordination and be physically fit. These individuals must be self-directed, organized, and able to train new mechanics as well, and they should have solid repair skills. In addition, marine mechanics must have solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

He must understand for trouble shooting of hydraulic system problem of stationary Fassi crane Models 135 & 385 and Pal Finger Crane PK - 32080 and has ability to conduct daily checklist of all machineries on board in ship.

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for completing periodic inspections, scheduled maintenance
• Be able to work in an offshore environment as well as work in rostered shifts
• Responsible for diagnosis and repairs on a variety of marine diesel on board and petrol outboard motors, hydraulic system, and low voltages electrical systems
• Complete detailed and accurate job cards
• Attend relevant training when required as well as provide training to other team members when needed
• Strong working knowledge of major brand marine diesel engine systems; installation, maintenance, repair, replacement.
• Perform installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of major brand marine diesel engine systems for powerboats and sailboats
