Cost Estimation Engineer

Job Description:

• Reviewing documents, drawings, or specifications to understand the scope and objectives of a project .
• Researching and gathering information on materials, labor, equipment, or transportation costs
• Developing and applying cost models, formulas, or methods to estimate the costs of different components or phases of a project .
• Evaluating the feasibility, profitability, or risks of a project or product based on the estimated costs and benefits
• Preparing and presenting cost estimates and reports to clients, managers, or stakeholders
• Updating and revising cost estimates as new information becomes available or changes occur
• Monitoring and tracking the actual costs and performance of a project or product against the estimated costs and expectations matters, troubleshooting and resolve operating problems

• Min. 8+ Experience preferable Petrochemical or Refinery (Mechnical. Eng. or Background preferred)
• Well conversant with SAP for Project module (PS) and MM Module
• Must be able to understand Engg. Drawings
• MOC (Management of Change) process
• Excellent expediting skill with Supplier and Services contractors to ensure all project deliverables are met with quality
• Must able to identify the project hurdles and resolve the issue on time to recover the delay as applicable
• Monitor compliance to EHSS, applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Budgeting & Cost Estimation skill
• MS office, Good communication and reporting skill.
