Job description:
The incumbent in this job is accountable for coordinating operational activities, including quality control, optimizing overall performance, guide Shift Supervisor, Operations manager and supervisor on process matters, troubleshooting and resolve operating problems
- Min. 8+ Experience preferable Petrochemical or Refinery (Mechanical Eng. Background preferred)
- Well conversant with SAP for Project module (PS) and MM Module
- Must be able to understand Engg. Drawings, MOC (Management of Change) process.
- Excellent expediting skill with Supplier and Services contractors to ensure all project deliverables are met with quality
- Must able to identify the project hurdles and resolve the issue on time to recover the delay as applicable
- Monitor compliance to EHSS, applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Budgeting & Cost Estimation skill
- MS office, Good communication and reporting skill.
- Handling of Emergencies in the role of incident controller.
- Monitoring Pump, vessel, Fired Heaters, Compressor- Centrifugal/Reciprocating changeover, hand over and take over.
- Plan scheduled, unscheduled & major project of MOC/maintenance activities by taking a 360o view (including all aspects like operations schedule, resources, availability, safety etc) Highlighting plant related issues in daily rack up meeting & its resolution.
- Ensuring implementation of the site activities, up keep of plant facilities, department or discipline as per proper authorization.
- Ensure safe working culture and job activities conforming to Reliance safety guidelines.
- Possess good understanding of hydrocarbon plant operation and various safety procedures, their effect of deviation on operations.
- Handled all types of major activities/emergencies like Plant start-up, Shutdown, Power failure, Feed failure, Hydrogen failure, Compressor trip, Heater trip, Charge pump trip and fire in the units.
- Co-ordinate and monitor panel and field activities for smooth running of plant.
- PHA/HAZOP studies for new process modifications and Emergency SOP preparations and Emergency SOP preparations.
- Job hazard analysis and Risk assessment sheets preparation for various routine and Non-routine jobs.
