Job Description:
Job Title: E&I Mechanical Design Engineer (Deputy Engineering Manager)
Education Qualification & Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- 12 -15 years experience in design, Engineering coordination, Project management and Project Control activities.
- Conversant with International Design Codes of Practice, including American, British Standards and Saudi Aramco standards and SABIC standards.
- Hands on experience Cross country pipeline, oil and gas, and refinery facilities grassroot and upgrade projects.
- Thorough understanding of Engineering design concepts and design criteria.
- Possess interpersonal, organizational and time management skill sets.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, supervisory and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge on Instrumentation and control systems, PLC, SCADA, RTU, ESD,Leak detection system, and electrical systems.
- Ability to understand all discipline engineering activities and resolve design issues
- Conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Saudi Aramco Projects experience (preferable)
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily Engineering activities of Engineering team to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Coordinating with Design offices, clients, subcontractors, project manager and Other Discipline Engineers.
- Review and approval of design packages, material submittals, and material requisitions.
- Review and ensure Design of facilities as per project specification, Contract scope, applicable codes and standards.
- Prioritize task and delegate as required.
- Technical bid evaluation and recommend technically compliant offers for PO procurement
- Vendor document review and approval
- Review design deliverables and participate design review meetings with client.
- Perform discipline check, squad on the deliverables developed to ensure quality.
- Coordinate with site team, provide technical support and clarification to resolve queries during construction.
