Design Engineer (Solar Project)
Job Description:
Proven experience in the same or related role is required.
Should be ready for field visits.
Knowledge of AutoCAD Software and Google Sketch up is a must.
Knowledge of PVSyst Software is an added advantage.
Conduct site surveys before plant design and layout are finalized.
DC & AC side designing which includes design & selection, calculating the rating of the switchgear and protection required in the system, cable sizing, earthing calculations, etc. Analyzing the existing system configuration and selecting a proper evacuation. DC side designing of solar rooftop PV projects, which include the stringing calculations, module selection, inverter range, etc.
Create electrical single - line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer - aided design (CAD) software.
Shadow analysis
Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.
Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start - up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.
Education: Degree/Diploma/ in Electrical /Mechanical/ Renewable Energy or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years’ experience
Salary: 3 To 4.8 LPA
