Cloud Operations Engineer- Navi Mumbai (Vashi)
Job Description:
We are having an urgent opening for the position of Cloud Operations Engineer for a reputed company at the Navi Mumbai (Vashi) location.
Engineer’s Responsibilities
- Monitoring and governance of the SaaS Platform and IoT Network reporting to the Head of Operations.
- As a member of operations, work closely with different teams within the organization including technology, development, outsource service providers and vendors etc.
- For smooth and successful operations of the Comapny platform to meet customer requirements.
- Support DevOps teams and produce high-quality documentation within agreed time frames.
- Detail orientated with strong and effective follow-up.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Work as an Individual Contributor in a small team
Skill Sets Required
- Knowledge of IoT architecture and platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Prior working experience with AWS cloud-based services - any or all of EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, RDS,
- Dynamo DB, EMR, Glue etc
- Good knowledge in overall AWS Architecture - Serverless Functions and Applications, Monitoring, Governance etc
- Experience designing, building and operating cloud services in IT, Systems Integrator or Service Provider.
- Expertise in MongoDB database is a must have
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
- Knowledge of IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTPs
- Knowledge of various Big data architectures like Lambda/Kafka
- Good working knowledge of industry best practices for operations.
Qualification
- BE / BTech /MCA degree, preferably in the field of either Computer Science, Electronics or Mechatronics.
- Good to have skills and experience
- 5-7 Years of experience
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are preferred.
- Knowledge of IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTPs
