General Manager – Marketing Deliveries and Operations
Job Description:
The General Manager – Marketing Deliveries and Operations would lead our India- based marketing delivery team. This role will be instrumental in driving operational leadership, executing corporate marketing strategies, and ensuring alignment across all functional areas including Creative, Content, SEO, PPC, Marketing Operations, and Web Development.
As a senior leader, person would be responsible for achieving demand generation goals across business units, improving team and process efficiency, and spearheading the AI-driven transformation of marketing operations for optimal scalability and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Strategy Execution
Lead the entire India marketing delivery team to execute global marketing strategies across multiple business units.
Collaborate with the Head of Marketing (USA) to translate corporate marketing goals into actionable delivery plans.
Provide strategic oversight and operational guidance to functional teams:
Creative, Content, SEO, PPC, Marketing Ops, and Web Development.
Performance & Process Excellence
Review and improve people, processes, and technologies to drive performance, efficiency, and innovation across teams.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality marketing services to internal stakeholders and business units.
Implement performance management frameworks and provide regular, constructive feedback and mentoring to team members.
Monitor KPIs and delivery metrics; take proactive steps to resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Team Development & Capability Building
Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
Drive ongoing training and development initiatives to upskill team members and enhance functional capabilities.
Coach, mentor, and support team leads and individuals in their professional growth and performance improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
Act as the primary liaison between the India Marketing team and the US corporate leadership.
Regularly engage with Business Unit Heads and Operations leaders across India to provide updates on marketing plans, performance, and strategic initiatives.
Ensure cross-functional alignment on marketing objectives and delivery timelines.
AI-Driven Marketing Transformation
Develop and lead the AI implementation strategy within Marketing Operations and Deliveries.
Identify automation and AI tools to improve scalability, accuracy, and efficiency of marketing processes.
Deep knowledge of advanced marketing tech tools and other technology-based solutions to help modernize processes and drive efficiencies.
Drive adoption of new technologies and ensure seamless integration with existing workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA in Marketing with 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or related functions with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Solid experience managing a marketing delivery team consisting of graphic and web design, content development, SEO, PPC, and marketing operations resources is required. Hand-on experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand development.
Candidates should have experience overseeing “the big picture” but also be comfortable lend a tactical hand where needed, as a hands-on designer and/or marketing unicorn who can jump in where and when needed. Experience working within a high-growth, agile marketing organization is a big plus.
Experience creating integrated content and visually appealing multi-touch marketing campaigns across all marketing channels including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional marketing teams in a matrixed organization.
Experience working with HubSpot (CRM and Marketing Automation) and optimizing the marketing and sales funnel sales is critical.
Strong understanding of modern digital marketing channels, tools, and performance measurement.
Hands-on experience implementing AI and automation within marketing functions is a strong advantage.
