Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure product quality as per customer and internal specifications.

• Conduct in-process, final inspection, and audits in the HPDC shop.

• Develop and maintain quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards).

• Handle customer complaints (CAPA – Corrective and Preventive Actions).

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

• Maintain quality documentation such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.

• Ensure calibration of all inspection and measuring equipment.

• Work closely with production, tool room, and design teams for quality improvements.

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and outsourced parts.

• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of HPDC (High Pressure Die Casting) process.

• Familiar with measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM.

• Hands-on experience with quality tools and techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of quality standards like ISO/IATF.

• Good communication and documentation skills.
