RF Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced RF Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing RF circuits and handheld radio sets. This role requires a deep understanding of RF principles, proficiency in RF circuit design, and hands-on experience in developing portable communication devices. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing cutting-edge RF solutions to meet the demands of our diverse clientele.

1. RF Circuit Design: Lead the design and optimization of RF circuits for various applications, including handheld radio sets. Utilize simulation tools and RF design methodologies to achieve optimal performance in terms of frequency, power, and efficiency.

2. Handheld Radio Sets: Design and develop handheld radio sets with a focus on RF performance, size, weight, and power consumption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components with digital electronics, antennas, and mechanical enclosures.

3. Prototype Development: Plan and execute the prototyping of RF circuits and handheld radio sets. Conduct performance evaluation tests and iterate designs to meet or exceed specifications.

4. RF Testing and Characterization: Perform RF testing and characterization to validate design performance and compliance with regulatory standards. Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design improvements.

5. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts, Bill of Materials (BOM), and design verification reports. Communicate project status, technical challenges, and proposed solutions effectively to stakeholders.

6. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of RF solutions into overall product designs. Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams as needed.

7. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in RF technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements. Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in RF circuit design and handheld radio technologies.
