Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Audit and Assurance: Assist in auditing financial statements of companies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to auditing standards. This may involve conducting audit procedures, verifying financial records, and identifying areas for improvement.

Taxation: Assist in tax planning and compliance activities, including preparing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and ensuring timely payment of taxes. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes. This may involve conducting financial ratio analysis, variance analysis, and performance evaluation.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting process by preparing financial forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures, and providing recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Internal Controls: Evaluate and strengthen internal control procedures to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy of financial data, and prevent fraud or misappropriation of funds.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.

Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing professional advice and support on financial matters.

Professional Development: Continuously update knowledge and skills through training programs, seminars, and professional certifications to stay abreast of developments in the accounting and finance field.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Completion of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) program or equivalent qualification.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, auditing standards, and financial analysis techniques.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines under pressure.
