Manager / Senior Manager - Human Resource & Industrial Relations
Job Description:
HR Operations:
Drive implementation of standard processes and procedures in HR, Responsible for communicating policies and guidelines to all associates at the sites to ensure understanding and compliance.
Drive continuous improvement programs within HR in the country.
Responsible for the delivery of a high quality personnel administration and payroll service for the company staff.
Responsible for Workday (HRMIS system) data quality for the Manufacturing Plant.
Industrial Relations:
Define the Site level strategy on Labour Relations and ensure its correct execution.
Ensure that the company standards are followed and minimize the potential risks.
Provide guidance and support regarding the Labour Relations & Contract Review with the Union, assuring compliance referent labour laws and job contracts in Bharuch.
Ensure effective functioning of various committees such as the canteen committee, welfare committee or any other committee as required by law (of country).
Networking & Liaoning: Establishing & maintain good relationship with the government authorities, local authorities and village community.
Recruitment:
Execute all recruitment and selection activities within local limits.
Ensure staffing efficiency within the site Manage an existing network of external partnerships/providers where necessary and ensure continuous benchmarking on price/quality.
Compensation and Benefits:
Following Central C&B guidelines, manage compensation packages and salary review process in country.
Leads communication / implementation / execution of incentive schemes for all employee groups in the country.
Support the Compensation and Benefits team the execution of Salary Surveys for the region.
Leadership effectiveness, Training & Development:
Ensure that Performance Management is cascaded properly and frequent personalized reviews are set up.
Support the site leadership in implementing/maintaining/improving their performance Management process.
Act as central point of contact for L&D initiatives and programs.
Support management on execution of training plans.
Ethics, Compliance and EHS:
Champion ethics policy execution and embed culture of ethical reflection.
Report to Site Manager and Regional HR Manager all critical situations.
Responsible for supporting Health service and Safety Management.
Responsible for coordination of all safety Trainings at the site.
Corporate Social responsibility:
Driving CSR activities in nearby community for wellbeing and betterment of community.
Establish relation with the community (Community Engagement).
Facility Management:
Responsible of all the facilities at the site like Canteen, Housekeeping, Transport, Horticulture etc.
Preferred candidate profile
MBA (HR) / MHRM with 10 to 20 yrs experience in handling entire gamut of HR & IR in a Large Multinational Manufacturing set-up.
Preferably with minimum 4 years of experience of leading HR Department, Labour Laws, Statutory, Industrial relations, long term settlement experience is must to have.
Also preference will be given to immediate joiners or who can join within 30 to 45 days after offer.
Should have worked in all the facets of HR, IR, Union Management, Settlement, Statutory, Contract Management and government affairs.
Should have a good balance of managing Manufacturing organization.
Thorough Knowledge of Labour Laws, 100% Labour Law compliance.
Effective in interacting with people of diverse cultures and foreign delegates.
Must have Gujarati language knowledge.
Language proficiency: English Hindi Gujarati (must)
Good networking skills
Ability to work under matrix reporting.
