Junior Accountant

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Kolkata. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 year of experience in accounting, along with strong proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup and MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain petty cash records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
- Handle correspondence and communication related to accounting matters.
- Support senior accountants in various accounting tasks and projects.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Vlookup and MIS reporting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
