Job Description:

Position:           Asst. Manager - QA

Location:          Daman

Experience:      5- 10 Years

Industries:       Plastic

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Customer Requirements: Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure that our products meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Quality Assurance Procedures: Develop and implement effective quality assurance procedures, including inspection plans, sampling protocols, and testing methodologies to ensure accurate evaluation of product quality.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions: Customer complaint handling and communication. And CAPA Preparation.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with the procurement team to establish and maintain strong supplier quality management processes, including supplier qualification, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality-related processes, procedures, and records. Prepare regular quality reports and metrics for management review.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to the QA team and other relevant departments on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness, fostering innovation, and implementing improvement projects.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry standards related to PET rigid film applications and ensure compliance in all quality-related activities.  
  • Project handling: Work on different projects as & when assigned by TOP Management with zero error, zero delay.     
  • New Product Development (NPD): Lead Product & Process improvement project ,Records and reports.
  • Quality Requirements for NPD: Define and communicate quality requirements, specifications, and testing protocols for new product development projects to ensure that customer expectations and regulatory standards are met.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for new products and processes to identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Validation and Verification: Support the validation and verification processes for new products, ensuring that they meet quality and performance criteria prior to market launch         

 Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance and quality management roles within the plastic film or packaging industry, with specific experience in plastic processing.

 QUALIFICATION  :- BSc/M.Sc  - Chemistry
