Job Description:

Job Purpose:
Training Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and
growth of the First Step Micro Business Loan product. Primary responsibility will be to train
and equip the bank’s retail staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively
promote, sell and service this specialized loan offering. Collaborate closely with the retail
team to drive business expansion and enhance customer experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
 Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for retail staff,
including Branch Managers, Relationship Managers and Sales Executives.
 Ensure that training content aligns with the unique features, benefits and eligibility
criteria of the First Step Micro Business Loan.
 Cover topics such as loan features, credit assessment, documentation, loan
disbursement process and customer engagement strategies.
 Deepen the understanding of retail staff regarding the First Step Micro Business Loan
product.
 Conduct regular workshops, webinars and classroom sessions to enhance product
knowledge.
 Address queries and clarify doubts related to loan terms, pricing and customer
eligibility.
 Equip sales teams with effective selling techniques and objection-handling skills.
 Collaborate with the Sales Leadership to create sales playbooks and scripts specific
to the Micro Business Loan segment.
 Monitor sales performance metrics and provide coaching to improve conversion
rates.
 Ensure that all retail staff adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies while
promoting and processing micro business loans.
 Conduct periodic assessments to verify compliance and address any gaps.
 Stay updated on industry trends and changes in lending regulations.
 Work closely with Branch Managers, Regional Heads and other stakeholders to drive
loan origination targets.
 Foster a collaborative environment where retail teams actively share best practices
and success stories.
 Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns related to the product.
 Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments and
performance metrics.
 Generate regular reports on training completion, knowledge retention and impact
on loan sales.
 Identify areas for improvement and adjust training content accordingly.
 Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and levels of expertise.

Education Qualification: 
Graduation: BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) / BBA (Bachelor of Business
Administration) / B.Com (Bachelor in Commerce) / B.Tech (Bachelor in Technology) / B.A.
(Bachelor of Arts) / B.E. (Bachelor in Engineering) / B.Sc (Bachelor of Science).
Post-graduation: MBA (Master of Business Administration) / PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma
in Management) / MCA (Master of Computer Application) / M.E. (Master in Engineering) /
M.Sc (Master of Science) / M.Tech (Master in Technology).
Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in retail banking, preferably with exposure to lending
products.
