Position Sr. Manager- FEA
Department Design & Development
Location Kolkata

Key Accountability / Role and Responsibilities
1. Led the creation of full equipment structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models for different load cases.
2. Conducted material characterization to identify the root cause of equipment structural failure.
3. Analyzed FEA results and determining the design feasibility of components and systems for product changes and
improvements to meet functional and performance specifications.

Expert in VA/VE

Education Qualification
1.
REQUIRED: - B.E/B-Tech (Mechanical)
2.
REQUIRED:
Experience
Minimum yrs. of experience:  5 Maximum yrs. of experience: 15
1. Preferable Industry background: Material Handling/Earth moving equipment e.g. M/s CDE Asia, Sarrle, Tata Hitachi, JCB,
Escorts-Kubota etc.
2.
Nature of Experience- Excellent applied software experience in ANSYS. NASTRAN and other FEA software
Required Skill Sets
1. Hands-on experienced in linear static, dynamic, impact, fatigue, nonlinear and Failure analysis with analysis software e.g.
ANSYS, NASTRAN etc
2.
Strong analytic problem solving skills and experience working with tight timing constraints
3. Material Handling component e.g.- Boom, Brackets, chassis /system design analysis including mechanical structure and failure
analysis and fatigue durability analysis
4.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others on problems that are unusual or difficult
