Position SR.MANAGER-MATERIALS

Location KOLKATA
Key Accountability / Role and Responsibilities
1.
Collaborate with other managers to determine supply needs
2.
Purchase supplies and materials according to specifications
3.
Coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing procedures
4.
Oversee distribution of supplies in the organization
5.
Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies
6.
Supervise, evaluate and coach subordinates
7.
Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers
8.
Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity, specifications etc
9.
Assist in forecasting to plan future orders
Education Qualification
1.
REQUIRED: B.Tech ,Mechanical Only
2.
REQUIRED: Any MBA
Experience
Minimum years of experience:12 Years Maximum years of experience:25 Years
Preferable Industry background: Capital goods, EPC
Nature of Experience
Required Skill Sets
1. Proven experience as materials manager
2. Experience in shipping and receiving
3. Experience in shipping and receiving
4. Understanding of forecasting and budgeting
5. ERP knowledge, Proficient in MS office
6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
