Position: Sales & Procurement - Cosmetic Ingredients


Purpose and Scope:

  • Responsible for achieving the Sales and Profit objectives in India as well as international market.
  • Assist and coordinate sales activities in the respective markets with customers and various channel partners in the Herbal & Nutraceutical ingredients Division.
  • Maintain and improve established relationship with key accounts.
  • Create and define a structured process for maintenance of high levels of customer service and future growth of the business.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Sales:

  • Formulate and coordinates annual sales and cost budget plan for respective markets in line with the Regional Plan.
  • Primarily responsible for achieving the agreed sales and profit objectives and expense control management.
  • Monitor Sales turnover on quarterly basis and profitability against budget and conducts counter-actions if necessary.
  • Responsible to initiate and establish relationship with key Customers.
  • Initiates new product sampling and developments in conjunction with the Business Units based on market or customer information/expectations.
  • Identify cross sales business opportunities and enable growth in current business base.
  • Manages day-to-day business.
  • Performs an active sales role and visits customers along with the Director of Herbal Division.
  • Responsible for receivable management.
  • Determine sales, market strategy in line with Business directives, and control its implementation.
  • Enabling customer experience and satisfaction in the market.

 

Procurement:

  • Analyse product scope, anticipates business activity and build relevant sourcing strategies. Identify opportunities for strategic substitution/localization for domestic markets in order to minimize business risk and bring flexibility.
  • On-board new suppliers and assist stakeholders in expanding sourcing channels.
  • Manage process, define & drive clear roadmap with collaborative stakeholders (Corporate team/quality/RI, etc.) and external partners while ensuring that the whole process meets internal control policy.
  • Support and manage internal stakeholders (Corporate team/quality/RI, etc.) relationship, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Manage performance and efficiency; be accountable for purchasing performance.
