Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Executive to in a leading manufacturer of plywood products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the plywood industry, with specific experience in MDF, plywood, and adhesive products. The Senior Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and growth opportunities in the plywood, MDF, and adhesive sectors.
Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of our plywood, MDF, and adhesive product lines, and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and applications to customers.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our products and services.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the company and the client, and successfully close deals.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM software, and provide regular reports to management.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and fulfillment of customer orders.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional pre-sales and post-sales support to customers, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in sales roles within the plywood industry.
Strong understanding of plywood, MDF, and adhesive products, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Additional Requirements:
Experience in selling to builders, contractors, distributors, and retailers in the construction industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations related to plywood and construction materials is a plus.
