Hiring Production Engineer in Changodar Ahmedabad Location

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operating the twin screw extruder and manufacturing high-quality filaments (filaments for 3d printing) as per stated requirements.

To efficiently manufacture the provided quantity of filaments while adhering to the highest quality standards.

Be involved in the production planning process and provide insights to optimize the plan. Also, ensure sufficient materials are available for current and future manufacturing orders.

Performing running adjustments on the machines in order to maintain optimum output and reduce scrap levels.

Identify faults and carry out basic maintenance (electrical, mechanical, predictive) activities.

Report all quality, production, and maintenance issues to the product manager.

Performing quality testing and ensuring the product is within customer specifications.

Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.

Maintaining all safety standards

Experienced in handling twin screw extruders.

Should be able to resolve machine-related problems. Should be able to do troubleshooting and handle breakdown.

Should have experience and knowledge of handling mixers, dosing systems, side feeders, pelletizing, etc.

Should be experienced in handling thermoplastic polymers viz. ABS, PLA, TPU as well as composite filaments.

Experience: 2 to 5 years’ Experience in Twin Screw (3D Printing) filament extruder operation

Qualification: A diploma or degree in Plastic engineering or mechanical engineering or production engineering. Candidate from CIPET or a similar organization would be preferable.

Salary: 4 To 6 Lacs per annum
