Job Description:

Position:          Assistant Manager/Specialist - HR

Location:         Daman

Experience:     5 - 10 Years

Industries:       FMCG

Responsibilities:

Talent acquisition

  • Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy.
  • Develop company's policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing.
  • Conduct Talent sourcing activities to fill open positions.
  • Working with Hiring manager to anticipate needs and fill position.
  • Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)
  • Reviews employment applications and background check reports
  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.
  • Counsel the candidate on corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment.
  • Generate monthly updates for company's leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry

Payroll Management

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software.
  • Process the monthly payroll of all employees, including their salary, overtime payments, deductions, and Collect and review timekeeping and attendance records using the latest time management software.
  • Prepare annual payroll reports to assess the reliability and efficiency of the payroll system.
  • Ensure tax filings by setting up state tax IDs for the entire organization.
  • Maintain a repository of all the essential documents like direct deposit documentation and systems data.
  • Conduct training sessions on the use of time and attendance tracking systems.
  • Facilitate accurate and timely salary disbursement by overseeing payroll functions, from payroll entry and calculations to reviewing payroll policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of the entire payroll processing.
  • Support employees throughout their entire payroll lifecycle.
  • Act as a payroll advisor to the other departments.
  • Assist in improving the overall planning and control of the payroll department.

Learning & Development

  • Design and delivery of induction training courses.
  • Implementation of all core mandatory training courses and agreed annual Training calendar.
  • Evaluate all training and its effectiveness to continually assess content.
  • Implementing key learning projects in line with The People Strategy and Organizational vision, mission, and facilitate training courses in line with organizational needs.
  • Coordinating for capability assessments across the Plant using Skill Gap Matrix.
  • Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to employees.
  • Create monthly reports and analysis on L& D initiatives.

Employee Engagement

  • Implement employee engagement programs that are aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct regular surveys and focus groups to collect feedback from employees on their level of engagement and satisfaction with their work.
  • Analysis data collected from surveys and focus groups to identify areas of improvement for employee engagement programs.
  • Develop and implement new employee engagement programs based on feedback collected from surveys and focus groups.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of employee engagement programs and make changes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement programs that promote employee engagement, such as wellness programs, social events, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Update trends in employee engagement and best practices to make recommendations to management.
  • Create monthly reports and analysis on E & E initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Candidate must have excellent English communication skill.
  • Good knowledge of all main HR practices
  • Hand on MS office (Excel, Word, Power point)

Required Qualification: - MBA/MSW/PGDM - HR

Salary :- Upto 8.00 LPA
