Instrument Engineer

Job Description:

JOB TITLE: INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

EXPERIENCE: Min 7 years in residential and commercial building projects

SABIC Experience is preferred

JOB LOCATION: SAUDI ARABIA

SALARY PACKAGE: 7k to 8k per month

Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
   • Develop and design instrumentation systems for residential and commercial building projects.
   • Create detailed specifications and drawings for instrument installations.

2. Installation and Maintenance:
   • Oversee the installation of instrumentation systems.
   • Ensure proper calibration, testing, and maintenance of instruments and control systems.

3. Project Management:
   • Manage instrumentation projects from conception through to completion.
   • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery.

4. Quality Assurance:
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits of instrumentation systems and processes.

5. Technical Support:
   • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for instrumentation systems.
   • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability.

6. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including technical manuals, schematics, and reports.
   • Prepare and present reports on project progress, performance, and any issues.

7. Vendor Coordination:
   • Liaise with suppliers and vendors for procurement of instrumentation equipment and materials.
   • Evaluate and approve new instruments and equipment.

8. Training and Development:
   • Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
   • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:Minimum of 7 years in instrumentation engineering within residential and commercial building projects, with a preference for experience in SABIC projects.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
