Job Description:
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our esteemed hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations. You will play a crucial role in strategic decision-making, financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Financial Planning and Strategy:
 
Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies aligned with the hotel's objectives and long-term growth plans.
Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
 
Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting efforts.
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
 
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for improving profitability and operational efficiency.
Risk Management and Compliance:
 
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
Capital Management:
 
Manage capital expenditure projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals and ROI targets.
Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to maximize returns.
Treasury and Cash Management:
 
Oversee cash flow planning and optimize cash resources to meet operational needs and debt obligations.
Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing arrangements to support business activities.
Team Leadership and Development:
 
Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop finance professionals, promoting skill development and career growth.
Requirements:
 

Should be a qualified CA

A Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in the hospitality industry, preferably within the hotel sector.
Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office suite.
