Job Description:
Design and Planning:
Develop and design electrical distribution systems, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and distribution networks.
Conduct load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and reliability studies to ensure system stability and efficiency.
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for power distribution projects.
Installation and Commissioning:
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical distribution equipment and systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations during installation and operation.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for power distribution equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in the electrical distribution system and take corrective actions to resolve issues.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of power distribution problems.
Project Management:
Manage power distribution projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all power distribution activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in power distribution technology and industry best practices.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of the power distribution system.
