Sr.Accountant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, record-keeping, and cash handling.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST and other statutory compliances.
Conduct internal audits for various firms within the business group to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Handle banking activities, including reconciliations, deposits, and transactions.
Maintain active communication with the company’s Chartered Accountant (CA) to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare and manage financial statements, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate and follow up on payments with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Use Microsoft Office tools effectively for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Draft and manage professional email correspondence.
Ensure all financial books are kept up to date and accurate at all times.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of GST regulations and compliance.
Experience with internal audits and financial reporting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Trustworthy with confidential and sensitive information.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in a family-run business environment.
Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
