Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Servicing Manager to oversee prepress and press supervision for our prototyping business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing and prepress processes, excellent client management skills, and the ability to coordinate and manage projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on project status.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality prototypes that meet specifications and deadlines.

Project Coordination:

Oversee the entire prepress and press process, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate with internal teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless project execution.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Prepress Supervision:

Review and approve prepress files, ensuring they meet technical requirements and client specifications.
Collaborate with the design team to resolve any prepress issues and ensure files are print-ready.
Stay updated on the latest prepress technologies and software.

Press Supervision:

Monitor the press process to ensure high-quality output and adherence to client specifications.
Conduct press checks and provide feedback to the production team to maintain quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the press process.

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of production.
Inspect prototypes for accuracy, consistency, and quality before delivery to clients.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Provide training and guidance to team members on prepress and press processes.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in printing and prototyping.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Printing Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in client servicing, prepress, and press supervision.
Strong knowledge of prepress and printing processes, including offset, gravure, flexo, and digital printing.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in prepress software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Enfocus PitStop) and printing equipment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in prototyping and packaging design.
Familiarity with central data management and production workflow solutions (e.g., Enfocus Switch, DAM systems).
Understanding of color management and quality control procedures.
