Job Title: Welder

Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience

Duration: 3 months

Salary: 2000 to 3000 SAR

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis for three months. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within specified deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Welding Tasks: Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques based on project requirements.
2. Assembly: Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Quality Control: Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and repair of welding equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
5. Documentation: Maintain records of welding operations, materials used, and work completed for project reporting purposes.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals effectively.
8. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues related to welding equipment and processes to minimize downtime and delays.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using welding equipment and tools.
• Certifications: Welding certifications for 3G (or higher) a(e.g., AWS) preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending) for extended periods.
• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to workplace safety practices and protocols.
• Time Management: Efficient time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 3 months (with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance).
• Typically, Indoors, in a workshop or fabrication shop.
• May Involve working outdoors at construction sites
• Physical work requires, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Exposure to dust, fumes and heat
• Location: Yanbu, KSA
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
