Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Store/Sales Manager for a reputed company in Automobile Servicing Industry in Navi Mumbai(Seawoods) location.

 

Store Operations

  • Engage the customer and help the customer understand all the services that the  store can provide
  • Deliver services to the customer in line with standards set by 3M
  • Compliance with the store operations manual. Also ensure compliance with Franchise Agreement/License at all times.
  • Maintain the Customer interaction area, all bays, storage, tools, equipments and work area well organized and neat.
  • Keep controllable expenses to a minimum (spoilage, store supplies, consumables, utilities)
  • Complete all paperwork and transmit information to the corporate office in a timely manner
  • Manages records of all important documents like Licenses, Credit card slips, Payment vouchers, Stock Registers, Invoice copies etc.
  • Protect confidential information
  • Maintain property and equipment to ensure employees have a safe and pleasant work environment.

Customer Service

A Good Customer Service is the main differentiator which enables customers to keep coming back to our stores for continued business. All activities, rules and norms for the store have been set keeping customer convenience and delight in mind. Store manager is expected to be the custodian of this. He should have the ability to pitch all treatments to the customer in a way that is more conversational than sales focused.

  • Delight customer in every interaction, from greeting the customer to the point where the store delivers the car back to the customer. This would include, but not limited to-
    • Exhibit a positive body language
    • Have a friendly temperament and be  helpful
    • Provide prompt and courteous service
    • Understand customers needs and wants
  • Set example for Team members of excellent customer service; Train and set clear expectations of excellent customer service from all his team members
  • Building relationships and personal rapport with customers
  • Customer retention: Should be able to retain customer by providing excellent service
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly

Profit Center management

Store Manager is directly responsible for sales from the store. The sales of the store would determine the profitability of the business and therefore the stores continued existence

  • Should develop a deep knowledge of the treatments and services on offer
  • Understand customer needs and have quality conversation directed towards addressing those needs
  • Convert first time customers by effective conversation and demonstration of service
  • Review sales numbers periodically and determine action plan based on areas needing attention
  • Run campaigns launched by the company in an effective manner

 Team Development

The Store Manager is the mentor and guide to whom the team would look up to. Store manager must play the role of a coach who trains and makes sure that each member of the team grows and remains loyal

  • Recruit, Hire and Train new team members including applicators, head applicator, applicators etc.
  • Train all team members in the store and ensure skills up gradation in consultation with the area manager
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation within the store
  • Communicate all Company and Franchise programs to all Team members
  • Handle team members' complaints professionally and respectfully without bias.
  • Maintain a safe and professional work environment free from any form of harassment
  • Ensure self and all store staff are properly dressed in authorized uniform and meet personal appearance requirements

Store Ambience

Very often customers evaluate the service of the store by the ambience of the store. Store manager should focus on making sure that customers feel delighted during all the time they spend in the store.

  • Ensures high levels of Housekeeping standards
  • Ensure store meets Company image standards using daily store inspection checklist and maintaining an acceptable score.
  • Maintain an acceptable mystery shopper score through consistent follow-up with all store Team members.
  • Ensure Retailing Display is fully stocked using appropriate Inventory
