Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant at this reputed organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in various activities to promote their products and services. You will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of marketing strategies, conducting market research, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of marketing initiatives. This position requires excellent English communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a solid background in marketing or related fields within the chemical manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Assist in responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Communicate product information and updates effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, organizing events, and maintaining marketing databases. Ensure timely completion of marketing projects and tasks.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product positioning and differentiation.
  • Content Creation and Digital Marketing: Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as product brochures, presentations, and website content and digital marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze marketing data, including sales figures, customer feedback, and campaign metrics. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings to the marketing team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in an export-oriented, client-facing role.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and generate actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of chemical products and applications is desirable but not required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP B1.
