Job Description
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and
reliability of our products/services. Leveraging your expertise and experience in QA
methodologies, tools, and processes, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to
identify, prioritize, and mitigate quality risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on
functional and technical requirements.
● Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance,
and scalability.
● Identify, report, and track software defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and
work closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
● Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings to
ensure testability and quality considerations are addressed early in the development
process.
● Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members, sharing best practices and
fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment
between business objectives and QA processes.
● Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance
efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
● 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and
automated testing.
● Strong proficiency in QA methodologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), and best
practices.
● Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g.,
Java, Python).
● Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
● Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with cross-functional teams.
● Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products/services on schedule.
