Job Description:
- Understand materials ( Raw material, Bought out, consumables, manufacturing goods etc.) used in our company
- Generate inquiries, collect quotations, compare, negotiate and source the best quality material
- Ensure availability of material at plant at the right time with the right quality and right price.
- Vendor development to optimize the prices and quality
- Track orders & ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of material procured
- Coordinate with logistics team to bring the material on time
- Inter departmental coordination for requirements
- Share delivery status and schedules with concerned department
