Job Description:

Job Title: Exim Coordinator (Female)

Salary : 25k-30k

Department: Supply Chain Management

Reports To: Exim Manager

Job Summary: The Exim Coordinator will oversee and manage the import and export operations of the company. This role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of international trade regulations, and the ability to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and compliant movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Import/Export Operations:
    • Manage all documentation related to import and export shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
    • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
  2. Logistics Coordination:
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange the transportation and clearance of goods.
    • Track shipments and provide status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay updated on changes in trade regulations, tariffs, and duties.
    • Ensure all import and export activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels.
    • Monitor and report on inventory movements related to imports and exports.
  5. Vendor and Customer Communication:
    • Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.
    • Address and resolve any issues related to shipments and deliveries.
  6. Cost Management:
    • Monitor and control costs related to import and export activities.
    • Negotiate rates with service providers to ensure cost-effective logistics solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in export-import operations.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in international trade or logistics (e.g., CILT, CITP).
  • Experience with ERP systems.
