COMMERCIAL CUM FACTORY MANAGER - TILDA RAIPUR

Job Summary 1

A Plant Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing the overall plant operation. Assures that the plant's production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and Local Safety and Environmental regulations and laws. Delegates responsibility and works through the key managers in production, production control, industrial engineering, cost accounting, maintenance, and other related operations to achieve the desired objectives outlined in the corporate business plan.

Duties & Responsibilities 1

• Coordinates with the Operations Manager the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
• Coordinates with the Quality Manager the plant's total quality program.
• Confers with managers and their subordinates and other plant personnel on the application of continuous improvement methods and meeting production standards and cost parameters.
• Reviews all recommendations for special machinery and works closely with engineering personnel regarding product and process improvement and new product launches.
• Determines plant policies consistent with organization or corporate policies and directs and supervises the application of such policies to the plant's organization.
• Participates in long-range plant expansion, conversion, and equipment planning.
• Oversees the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and plant security and protection.
• Reviews and approves recommendations of subordinates in matters of personnel or rate changes. Authorized to identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality systems.
• Authorized to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system.
• Authorized to represent the organization in the community and promote the organization's goodwill and interests in community activities.
• Authorized to ensure plant personnel adherence to Safety Program.
• Authorized to ensure Plant's compliance with government and regulatory requirements such as OSHA, EPA, etc 
• • Authorized to represent the needs of the customer in internal functions in addressing QMS and EMS requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions.
  • Authorized/Responsible to ensure that the plant's Affirmative Action Plan is followed.
  • Performs other essential functions as assigned.

Requirements & Skills 1

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Operations
• • 20 years experience in a related field
  • The employee will be required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor
  • Will be required to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionall
