Cad Engineer
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities: 1. Support in NPD/VAVE/Sustaining engineering activities. Lab testing 2. Generate/Revise 3D models and 2D drawing using Solid works 3. Revise and/or create product documentation (CAD files, BOMs) as part of workflows for Product Change 4. Create and revise drawings, specifications and design practices applying Pentair and industry processes and standards 5. Integrate lessons learned, best practices, and standardization into drawings, specifications, and processes Skills: 1. Real-world hands-on experience of SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drawings 2. Real-world hands-on experience in tolerance stacks, GD&T 3. Exposure to database environment / PLM would be preferred 4. Plastic products- Design principles and Manufacturing process knowledge 5. A good understanding of manufacturability and assembly
