Position Title: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be instrumental in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT services, excellent sales skills, and a proven ability to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
    • Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to enhance market position.
  • Client Acquisition:

    • Generate new business leads through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Understand client needs and provide tailored IT solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering loyalty.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development targets.
    • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical, and project management, to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop pricing strategies and sales forecasts.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in business development or sales within the IT services industry.
    • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
