Draftsman for a leading Architect firm at Muscat - Oman

Job Description:

• Experience: 6-8 years of proven experience in corporate interior design, high-end residential projects, and hospitality design.
• Education: Diploma or degree
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CAD systems.
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.

• Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the MEP, civil and engineering consultants.

• Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
• Must have experience in joinery works & MEP (basic)
• Must be able to create architectural and interior layouts, elevations and details with additional focus on interiors.

• Should be able to clearly and effectively communicate construction requirements through accurate drawings.

• Site knowledge and experience required.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and other relevant tools.

• Gender Requirement: Male/Female candidates only.
• Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse design projects in the mentioned sectors.
