Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced and strategic IT Head to oversee the entire IT functions at Gentell. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, software architecture, and cloud platforms. As the IT Head, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, security, and scalability of our IT systems, driving technological innovation, and leading a talented team of IT professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

- IT Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the overall IT strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Provide visionary leadership to the IT department, ensuring that technology initiatives support business growth and innovation.

- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, ensuring high availability and reliability.

- Software Architecture: Collaborate with software architects and developers to design and implement robust software systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.

- Security & Compliance: Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard company data and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.

- Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute technology projects.

- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration.

- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements within the IT function.

 

Requirements: 

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 

- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, software architecture, and cloud platforms, particularly Azure. 

- Strong understanding of IT security practices, data protection, and compliance standards. 

- Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams. 

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Experience with AI, machine learning, and their applications in IT systems. 

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. 

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
