GENERAL MANAGER / HEAD (EHS) - RAMGARH, JHARKHAND

Job Description:

Job Summary:

As General Manager / Head (EHS) you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive EHS strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement in our environmental performance and workplace safety. 

Qualification: PDIS / ADIS from RLI or CLI, or a degree from a university affiliated with RLI / CLI.

 B. Tech. / M.Tech. / Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical) or B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry)

 Minimum of 20+ years of experience in EHS management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

 Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS strategies and programs.

 Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards

 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity

Key Responsibilities:  Develop and implement EHS strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

 Lead and manage the EHS team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

 Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate environmental and safety risks.

 Develop and manage budgets for EHS initiatives and programs.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business operations.

 Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

 Develop and implement training programs to enhance EHS awareness and competencies.

 Lead incident investigation and response efforts.

 Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, customers, and employees, to promote EHS excellence.
