Pre-Sales Support Specialist
Job Description:
Overall role: This role is responsible for helping the company find sales opportunities and working with the sales team to close those sales opportunities. Conducting research about the industry, competitors, and market opportunities in different geographies across the globe for our products. Establishing the initial contact with the prospective client.
The roles and responsibilities of the Pre-Sales Support Specialist
1. Create and maintain a database of competitors
2. Create and maintain a database of prospective clients based on geography and domain
3. Track govt. tenders and projects that are announced and are relevant to our products and contact them
4. Contact the prospective client, and send them marketing material.
5. Find prospective clients on LinkedIn establish contact with them and set up meetings for the sales team
6. Track the campaigns being run in the company and work with the marketing communications role to fine-tune the campaigns
Educational qualification required: any undergraduate degree. Important to have an interest and aptitude for technical/engineering products.
Skills required:
⁃ Expertise in combing through information on the internet and identifying the relevant information quickly and accurately
⁃ Understanding the sales cycle
⁃ Basic knowledge of Sales Campaigns would be a plus
⁃ Excellent written and spoken English
⁃ Attention to detail
⁃ Ability to follow through and take tasks to completion
⁃ Ability to work in a team
