Job Description-

Project Manager -JD 7 Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, Designers etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
• Negotiate & finalize contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Liaising to obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish for projects with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Plan all Engineering, Procurement, construction activities as per project scope of work and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
• Engage sub-contractors for specialized works and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise & manage the work of project & construction team and give them guidance when needed.
• Evaluate progress and guide Planner to prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues to higher management.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience in the role of project manager or senior project engineer in oil & gas industry (minimum experience 13-15 years required).
• In-depth understanding of project & construction procedures, material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s/Graduate in engineering, preferably in Electrical & Instrumentation or relevant field
• PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
