We're looking for a passionate Principal Enterprise Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative SharePoint solutions that empower our workforce. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate user needs into exceptional user interfaces and efficient back-end functionalities. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles, with the ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.

A Day in the Life

• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand their needs and translate them into robust SharePoint solutions.
• Architect and configure complex SharePoint environments, including site collections, workflows, security models, and integrations.
• Lead the development and deployment of custom SharePoint solutions using best practices and coding techniques.
• Troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Foster a culture of innovation by staying up-to-date on the latest SharePoint technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior SharePoint engineers, fostering their technical growth and development.

Must Have

Job Respobsibilities

• 14+ years of experience in designing, developing and leading front-end applications.
• 8+ years of strong experience in SharePoint design, development, and administration.
• Proven experience in leading and managing complex SharePoint projects from inception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture, including site collections, workflows, security models, and integrations with other Microsoft technologies (Power BI, Teams, Azure).
• Strong understanding of SharePoint governance and best practices.
• Experience with building and customizing SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and/or custom coding (CSOM, REST API).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and guide others.

Must Have

Minimum Qualification

• S/MS in Engineering or related field with 14+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of Software industry experience.

Principal Working Relationship

• Reports to the Engineering Manager
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, end-users) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based SharePoint deployments.
• Certifications in SharePoint (MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
• Experience in a healthcare or medical device environment is a plus.
