QC Inspector/ Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Must have Saudi Experience working with any SABIC/ARAMCO Projects.
• To Inspect welds make recommendations for accepting or rejecting work, ensure safety standards.
• To monitor all aspects of the welding process before, during and after welding to ensure that the finished weldment has been produced in accordance with a code or specification and complies with the stated requirements of that code or specification.
• Verify welding equipment appropriateness.
• Verify welding procedure qualification compliance.
• Preparation of new WPS/PQR in order to optimize the production manhour.
• Training and qualifying all welders and welding operators in all positions and welding processes.
•  Establishing new welding techniques, training, orientation of welders, Following WPS, correct welding consumables are used.
• Timely preparation and maintaining all in process QC reports and getting reviewed /approved by client inspector.

Certification Requirements

• Certificate of welding inspection personnel CSWIP 3.1 OR AWS.
• Certificate of Painting inspection personnel- BGAS Grade 2 or NACE
