Roles & Responsibility:

  • System Monitoring and Maintenance:

Oversee the ERP system’s performance specifically related to factory operations, including production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory management.

Perform routine system backups, updates, and patches to ensure continuous system availability and data integrity.

Troubleshoot and resolve ERP system issues promptly to minimize disruptions in production and inventory management.

  • User Support:

Provide technical assistance and support to factory personnel regarding ERP functionalities such as production tracking, stock levels, and order processing.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure secure and appropriate system usage.

Conduct training sessions for factory staff on ERP system features and operational procedures.

  • Data Management:

Maintain and update accurate data within the ERP system, including production schedules, inventory levels, and procurement orders.

Ensure timely and precise data entry related to raw materials, finished goods, and work orders.

Generate and analyze reports to monitor production efficiency, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment.

  • System Configuration and Enhancement:

Assist in configuring and customizing the ERP system to meet the specific needs of factory operations and the furniture manufacturing process.

Support the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements to improve functionality and address operational needs.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed documentation of system issues, changes, and user interactions.

Prepare and present regular reports on system performance, production metrics, and inventory status to management.

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure seamless ERP integration with factory processes.

Coordinate with ERP vendors and technical support to address system issues and implement improvements.

Requirements and skills:

Experience: Relevant experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, particularly in the furniture industry, is highly desirable.

 

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) with a focus on manufacturing and inventory management modules.
  • Strong understanding of factory operations, including production processes, inventory control, and materials management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with factory staff and management.
