Membership Consultant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
2. Conduct gym tours and presentations to prospective members
3. Build relationships and engage with customers to understand their fitness goals
4. Promote and sell gym memberships, personal training, and group classes
5. Handle inquiries, answer questions, and address concerns
6. Process membership sales, renewals, and upgrades
7. Maintain accurate records and reports
8. Collaborate with fitness staff to promote services and events
9. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings
10. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure member satisfaction

Requirements:

1. 1-2 years of sales experience (fitness industry preferred)
2. Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
3. Goal-oriented, motivated, and results-driven
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
6. Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in CRM software
7. Availability to work flexible hours.

Desirable Qualities:

1. Fitness enthusiast or background in fitness
2. Knowledge of sales principles and techniques
3. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
4. Certification in sales or fitness
