Manager - Logistics
Job Description:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and employee development.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate logistics activities and meet customer requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with transportation and logistics service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to logistics operations.
- Analyse data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate logistics performance and initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics management.
