Position:          GM - Operation

Location:         Daman

Experience:     20 - 25 Years

Industries:      Plastic

Responsibilities:

• Overlook operational efficiency of the plant including planning, production, maintenance and quality.
• Capable of leading COGS (Cost Of Goods Sold).
• Accountable for production inventory.
• Coach and provide direction to subordinate managers, offering professional expertise.
• Oversee logistics, material management and plant asset.
• Ensure documentation is in line with engineering protocols and regulations.
• Improve end product quality on cost basis and by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Prepare, approve and control annual plant budget.
• Develop production plans including prediction of staffing efficiently.
• Direct department improvement activities by building cost reduction initiatives.
• Identify plant improvement projects and ensure execution.
• Act as an interface between all internal stakeholders.
• Take charge of plant MIS.
• Monitor performance to ensure that departmental and individual objectives are achieved within scheduled timelines and budgets.
• Initiate process reengineering and automation at plant including incremental Capex.
• Drive new product development and process implementation for these developments.
• Ideate and implement solutions with respect to improving market competitiveness.

Required Skills

• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Skilled in lean manufacturing or DBS or TPS system.
• Well aware of Manufacturing KPIs.
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
• Understanding of high volume manufacturing.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech – Mechanical/ Industrial/Plastic

Salary :- Upto 40.00 LPA
