Oracle PLSQL Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities
 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL.
 Proven experience of Oracle PL/SQL development involving Packages, Procedures,
Functions, Triggers, Hints and data migration scripts.
 Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Strong knowledge of data management concepts, including database structure, and
proficiency with Oracle SQL and other standard database query tools.
 High degree of knowledge and understanding of developing and debugging complex
PL/SQL packages involving large data sets, Collections and advanced PL/SQL
communications with Oracle Good knowledge on DB Links, Hints, Performance
Tuning and handling Database Locks.
 Experience working in Agile Development Environment and exposure to JIRA (any
similar tools)
 Experience working with version control tools.
 Experience in Supply chain- Order Management system will be an added plus Basic
knowledge on web application development is good to have.
 Excellent Oral & Written communication skills, needs to be proactive, inquisitive,
adaptable and trainable
 Coordinate with the Client Managers, Project Co-coordinators, Business Analysts and
Testing Teams to ensure timely resolution for all Projects, enhancements, system
tickets & defects.
 Triage technical issues reported by Client teams, performing technical analysis to
identify root causes and appropriate remediation steps involving Oracle PL/SQL and
related technologies.
 Participate in Daily SCRUM, Planning/grooming sessions, weekly status and
management meetings to discuss progress, issues and challenges.
 Collaborate with peers and leads on process improvement ideas, policy and procedure
enhancements, and opportunities to improve our customer's service experience.
 Peer testing, code review, and impact analysis of the modules developed by the other
team members.
 Willingness to work in shifts is a must.
Working hours - 8.30AM to 11M or 2pm - 11pm to start with and down the line will have to be flexible
to work on night shifts.
 Good communication skills are a must as these positions are customer facing.
