DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION: (HIGHLIGHT CRITICAL ACTIVITIES)
Production Control:
1. Weekly planning of production machine loading- Coordinating with Production Planning and Control
(PPC) and validating the machine loading planning is as per standard cycle time
2. Daily/Weekly planning of RM- Coordinating with PPC and SCM (Supply Chain Management) for Raw
material availability as per machine loading planning. Get revised from PPC if RM is not available as per
lead time and for next 24 Hours
3. Monthly/Weekly/Daily Manpower planning- Coordinating with HR for streamlining of given manpower
requirement, redeployment as per production/packing/dispatch load
4. Daily DPR Review- Ensuring actual production as per planning, correct filling up of DPR with all losses
(availability loss, performance loss, quality loss), on time ERP entry as per actual production
5. Perform RCA and Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) for all types of non-conformity
6. OEE calculation of machines

7. Control and monitoring of costs- Conversion cost analysis, manpower cost, reduction in scrap
percentage, reduction in rework cost, executing projects within estimated cost
8. Data preparation, review and presentation in daily morning meeting, monthly operational review and
monthly EMR
9. Stock - Ensuring compliance to BOM and stock inventory management
Safety:
1. Ensuring safe workplace practices by conduction of regular Tool Box Talks (TBT), Safety Workshops,
adhering to the Permit To Work (PTW) guidelines
2. Safety Observation Tour (SOT)- 100% SOT adherence of the team, Lodging of unsafe act, unsafe
condition, near miss and closure of SOT action points within SLA
3. Perform RCA and CAPA for any safety incident
4. HIRA- Identify and perform HIRA mitigation plan
Quality:
1. Executing and monitoring all online activities
2. Ensuring production done as per Work Order requirement
3. Ensuring internal and in process inspection of products
4. Improvement as per quality standard

People Development:
1. Provide induction training for Plant
2. Conduct CFR at the plant
3. Goal set and review of the staff
4. Perform and involve staff in OKR activity
5. Prepare and execute manpower development plan
6. Manage Manpower development to upskill all the available manpower as required by the skill matrix

Stock and Inventories:

1. Daily reconciliation of inventory (RM, FG, WIP, Scrap)
2. Opening and closing stock reconciliation on a weekly as well as monthly basis

Continuous improvement:
1. Contribute to Process Improvements: Contribute to cycle time improvement (define the cycle time of the
product that is going to be made at the shop floor and improve the company’s capacity to manufacture it)
for timely project executions
2. Ensure the elimination of losses: identify and take action against the top 3 potential reasons to eliminate
the minor stoppages and breakdowns
3. Maintain 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) & Employee Health and Safety Norms on the
Shop Floor to ensure the safety of the workplace and achieve growth in productivity
4. Prepare and Monitor the Man-Machine Chart and ensure the adherence of the same.
