Field Application Engineer for Memory Product Semiconductor

Job Description:

You will play a critical role in driving the success of our memory products by working closely with customers, providing technical support, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the design-in, qualification, and successful deployment of our products. You will lead all Segments Pan India, ensuring to meet customer needs and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement & Design-in Support:
  • Collaborate with customers to achieve design wins and qualify SK Hynix memory products in their applications.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support, including product recommendations, applications advice, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct regular visits and communications with customers to understand their product needs and features requirements.
• Technical Association & Problem Solving:
  • Work closely with marketing and design engineering teams to assess the feasibility of new product requests and generate functional specifications.
  • Support the field sales force by offering detailed technical advice and solutions to customer challenges.
• India Lab Management:
  • Oversee the India Lab to ensure it supports signal integrity requirements as per customer specifications.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to provide necessary testing and validation for signal integrity.
• Product Training & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Develop and deliver product training sessions to the field sales force, distribution partners, and customers, ensuring a deep understanding of SK Hynix products.
  • Collaborate with marketing and QA teams to review and respond to product specifications and technical questionnaires from customers.
• Marketing & Communication:
  • Identify the need for marketing communication materials, such as product guides, cross-references, and advertisements, to support customer engagement and product promotion.
  • Work with marketing teams to ensure that customer requirements are accurately reflected in promotional literature.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of ~8-10 years’ experience in semiconductors, ideally in the field of Memory & Storage related products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in a technical support role within the semiconductor or electronics industry, preferably in memory products.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
